Áágà: Mystery tree that provides water for Villagers in Obafemi Owode

There is a tree called Áágà (Igi Áágà) in a village in Obafemi Owode Local government area of Ogun State, Whenever there is shortage of water in the village, people go to the tree to get water. They only need to cut bark of the tree, the water would start coming out, the mystery about the tree is if you put a cup, bucket, or any large container beside the tree, the water will fill the container up and as soon as it full, You won't see a drop of water on the ground. The water stops from the tree as the container is full without anyone stop it.

The name of the tree, Áágà has named the village as Abule Aaga (Áágà Village). The tree is a very thick and tall.

Newspaper Online crew interviewed Chief Aralamo who  lives in the village, he said apart from the water from Áágà tree is good for drinking, they do use the water for many spiritual purposes.
