Amosun promises to build World standard Museum for Ebenezer Obey

Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has promised to build a World standard museum in the honour of the Gospel-Juju musician, Evangelist Ebenezer Obey.

Amosun said this yesterday at the 75th birthday ceremony of the musician which was held at Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta. The governor said he saw the creative songs of Ebenezer Obey in a shop in America when he travelled out of the country. He said there was no day he won't listen to the music of Obey in the morning.

“All I see in him at 75 is the
awesomeness of God in his life.

” There is always something to learn from your
music. I play Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi’s music
every morning(he sang some songs of the
musician).

“Your music teaches the totality of life, it
teaches essence of life and living. Your music
has moved beyond Nigeria to the global
community.

“We will establish a museum where all your
works will be kept for generations yet unborn
to know about you and other legends from
the state.” Governor Amosun said.
