Why I dropped out of TASUED - Olamide

The 28-year old hip-hop artiste, Olamide Adedeji, popularly known as Badoo has said his parent's inability to pay his school fees at Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED), Ijagun, Ogun State forced him out of the school.

The Ogun State born musician said that he dropped out of school but was successful in life by discovering his talent and through the hard work.

Olamide made these known on Friday when he addressed Students as a special guest of honour at the Summer camp organised by the Ogun State government at Akin Ogunpola Model College, Akinale in Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun state.

“I am from Ogun State here, I do not joke with my culture and language, in fact, I came from a poor background. I had to drop out of Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, Ijebu Ode, when it was getting difficult for my parents to pay my school fees.

“However with doggedness, perseverance and hard work I was able to find myself where I am today.” Olamide said.

He advised Students at the Summer camp to be serious with their education and do away with bad group.
