OGUN 2019: APC Leaders in Abeokuta North rally support, strategize for Dapo Abiodun
Notable leaders of All Progressives Congress in Abeokuta North Local Government of Ogun State on Friday met at Green Legacy Resort Hotel, Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library to rally support and strategize for Ogun State APC governorship candidate, Prince Dapo Abiodun.
The leaders across the 16 political wards led by Ogun Central Senator, Prince Lanre Tejuoso, Bobagunwa of Egbaland, Chief Bode Mustapha, Alhaji Bakai Ajao Okedara, Hon. Olufemi Adiro, Hon. Abeeb Wale Ajayi, Hon. Ahmed Taiwo, Alhaja Faidat Sarunmi Akintunde, Hon. Sunday Akintona, Some Councillors, Political functionaries
and other leaders deliberated on the political situation of Ogun state and the good chances of APC in all wards.
While setting the agenda for the meeting, Hon. Moroof Ajayi and Hon. Adiro, the coordinator of Dapo Abiodun Campaign Organization in Abeokuta North/Obafemi Owode/Odeda federal constituency told the gathering the significance and purposes of the meeting.
Hon. Bakai Okedara highlighted the independent reports of various wards which tremendously centred on Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats. He proffered some suggestions and antidotes which would make all APC victorious at the general election.
Chief Bode Mustapha called for the unity among APC members. He urged the members to forget the past and the bitter politics that had divided the party members for the past 8 years.
Representatives of wards analyzed and discussed the challenges confronted the party in all wards.
Programmes were itemized as leaders donated funds for the campaign. Goodwill messages were received from the Presidency and the National Working committee of All Progressives Congress (APC).
