The Ekiti State Executive Council has released
the names of members of House of Assembly,
arrested by men of the Department of State
Services (DSS) last Friday.
The four lawmakers, Hon Sina Animasaun, Ekiti
West II, Hon Musa Arogundade (Ado II), Afolabi
Akanni(Efon) and Hon Badejo Anifowose (Moba
I) according to the council were arrested within
the assembly complex on the said day and
whisked to Abuja.
It also accused the DSS of arresting the state
Commissioner for Finance, Mr Toyin Ojo.
The position was conveyed in a statement
signed by the deputy governor, Dr Kolapo
Olusola and 19 other members of the SEC after
its third meeting of the year held in Ado Ekiti
on Tuesday.
