President Muhammadu Buhari, his vice-president,
governors, ministers and National Assembly members
attend the 8th Bola Tinubu Colloquium in Abuja today.
The colloquium was part of the ceremonies marking the
64th birthday of the national leader of the All
Progressives Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The ‘birthday boy’, Tinubu was also at the event with
the theme, “Agriculture: Action, work, revolution”.
With the oil sector in crisis, the Buhari
administration is focussing on agriculture, which he
described recently as the traditional wealth of the
nation.
Diversifying the economy can no longer be a slogan, it has become a necessity - President Buhari said.
