Ogun State governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has approved the payment of the April Salaries to all levels of Ogun State workers and part of Co-operative and pensions deductions.
According to the Commissioner for information and Strategies, Otunba Dayo Adeneye in the Press release signed by him, he said Governor Amosun gave the order for the payment yesterday. He promised that State government would maintain the continuous commitments to the Workers' Welfare despite the financial challenges.
The Federal government last week promised that loans payments would not be deducted from the Federal Allocations for the states so that they can meet their financial obligations.
Ogun State government said the Workers would start receiving bank alerts on Salaries and outstanding deductions from Next week Tuesday.
