Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC)
Abdullahi Adamu Candido has been declared winner of
the chairmanship election in Abuja Municipal Area Council
(AMAC).
With the addition of results of the supplementary
elections held yesterday, he polled 27, 482 votes to beat
Bitrus Tanko Kura of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)
who polled 21, 965.
The area council returning officer, Prof. Sunday E.
Ododo declared the results of at about 1:16a.m on
Thursday.
