Protesters block National Assembly entrance, demand Saraki's resignation

Hundreds of protesters have blocked the main entrance
of the National Assembly, demanding the resignation of
the Senate President Bukola Saraki.

The protesters who marched from the Unity fountain
arrived the main entrance of the National Assembly
around 11: am.

Our correspondent reports that the protest forced the
security personnel at the National Assembly to lock the
main gate.

The protesters carried flag of the country and placards
that reads: "Saraki must go", "Enough is enough", among
others.

The youths made up of various Civil Society
Organisations and students, were also demanding that
the federal lawmakers should immediately revisit the grey
areas identified in the 2016 budget by President Muhammadu Buhari.

They also asked 36 senators who had so far collected
their own exotic jeeps to return them immediately or face
the wrath of Nigerians.
