Governor Ibikunle Amosun has waived the 30% discount on the price of lands for any investor that would need the lands for establishment of industries in Ogun State between today and August 30, 2016.
The Governor has, as well waived the 25% discount on the price of the lands for any investor that would need such lands between now and December 31st, 2016.
Governor Amosun announced these offers to the investors at the closing remarks of the two day Investors forum held in Herbert Ogunde June 12 Cultural center, Abeokuta.
Senator Ibikunle Amosun said an hectare of Agricultural lands will be readily available for the price of N5,000 with the 50% Discount instead of N10,000 per hectare. He said the opportunity would only lapse after this year.
He enjoined the teeming investors globally to make use the opportunity.
"If you are buying land from the State between now and August 2016, you will be given 30% discount and if it runs till December, you will get 25% discount and for Agricultural purpose, you will be given 50% discount", Amosun said.
The theme of the 3rd edition of Ogun State investors forum focused on "Environment, Agriculture and Transportation".
Former President of Colombia, Augusto Trujillo was one of the Discussants and Nigeria's Vice President, Professor Yemi Osibajo also represented President Muhammadu Buhari.
Some Ministers like Finance Minister, Kemi Adeosun, Minister for Environment, Aisha Muhammad, Minister for Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola and that of Water Resources, Suleiman Adamu were all also among the Discussants.
