Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari met
with Rivers State
Governor Nyesom Wike at closed door.
The meeting was held inside the President’s
office at the Presidential Villa, Abuja and it did not last longer.
Governor Wike arrived Aso rock for the meeting around to 2pm and left
a few minutes after.
No one knew the agenda of the meeting as the governor did not speak with the journalists at the end of the meeting.
Nyesome Wike has been battling with his
predecessor who is presently the Minister of
Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi.
Amaechi was the Director-General of President Muhammadu Buhari’s
campaign organisation, he has been accused of
diverting the Rivers state’s funds when he was the
governor to sponsor the APC campaign which he had denied.
