Two conflicting court orders were granted today by Federal High Court, Lagos and Port-Harcourt . While the Federal High Court, Lagos ordered the Inspector General Of Police to recognize the National chairman, Senator Ali Modu Sherrif, National secretary and National Auditor restrained the caretaker committee led by Senator Makarfi from parading themselves as People Democratic Party Executives.
The Federal High Court, Port-Harcourt restrained Senator Ali Modu Sherrif, Prof. Adewale Oladipo and others from parading themselves as National officers of PDP, recognizes Sen. Makarfi led Caretaker committee and Ordered INEC and others to recognize only correspondences from the committee.
