Late Justice Tsamanni led- Tribunal that sat at Isabo firstly struck out the 32 out of 33 petitions filed by Amosun's ANPP in July 2007 but Amosun/ANPP challenged the dismissal on technicalities.
Another Election tribunal was set up, after SIA protested that He had no fate in Tsamanni Tribunal. Daniel/PDP challenged the reconstitution of another tribunal at Federal High Court, Abeokuta and Supreme court but the supreme court ignored the case.
Justice Suleiman Ambursa of the reconstituted tribunal also "threw away" Our petitions for the second time.
Amosun/ANPP went to Iyaganku Ibadan to challenge the dismissal of the petitions at Court of appeal.
Egba Chieftains intervened because of Dimeji Bankole who emerged as Speaker after Olubunmi Etteh was removed, ANPP withdrawn the petitions against Dimeji Bankole at Tribunal so as not to jeopardize the Speakership given to Egbas.
The ruling of February 8, favoured ANPP/Amosun but the Appeal Court adjourned till 6th of March 2009.
We came out from the court at Iyaganku that day to meet Our drummers and our supporters outside. We started jubilating and Singing....PDP leaders and their boys were unhappy to see this.
Amosun was pelted with
bottled and pure water sachets while he addressing us infront of the court premises. We were not spared too. "Ęni ori yo odi le"
Some Abiola Ajimobi boys also came to assist us. Nigeria Policemen and Our boys whisked away Senator Ibikunle Amosun. God saved him.
