Ogun State Local government Service Commission has started the transfer of staff and Sharing of the properties in 20 Local government areas.
The information gathered at various local government secretariats revealed that the lists of staff to be transferred to the new 37 Local Council development areas(LCDAs) are ready. The staff will be posted to the new LCDAs as soon as Governor Amosun announced the names of the transition committee chairmen that will man different LCDAs and LGs.
According to the information, the head of the local government Administration (HOLGA) of each 20 Local government areas will be running the affairs of the 37 LCDAs with the staff that will be posted.
Properties of the 20 local government areas are also being collated for the sharing, while the fixed assets will remain where they are, the movable ones like graders, tractors, buses, cars and others will be shared.
