It was colourful day at DLK Events center, Abeokuta on Monday, where important personalities present to witness the second batch of mega empowerment to mark 365 days of All Progressives Congress lawmaker representing Ogun central Senatorial District, Prince Olanrewaju Tejuoso in the National Assembly.
As at 10a.m, the venue of the events had been full with several groups, Associations, Politicians, Artisans and General public.
While Celebrating One year in the National Assembly, Yesterday's event was tagged as " Global Goal 8 - Good jobs and economic growth",
Senator Tejuoso distributed 500KVA Transformers to 6 communities while he also empowered six people with Almera Taxi vehicles for commercial transportation.
370 Sumec Fireman generating sets were distributed to people, 161 Grinding machines , 92 Sewing machines , 20 Deep freezers, N1,000,000 cash was shared among 100 people too to be added to their capital funds, 21 people got Okadas, 74 Electric Hair Clippers and 74 Hair dryers were also distributed.
State government at the occasion was represented by the deputy governor of Ogun State, Chief Mrs. Yetunde Onanuga, Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Hon. Moruff Afuwape and his counter-part at Ministry of Community and Cooperative development, Mr. Gbenga Adenmosun.
Several party leaders showered praises on Senator Tejuoso who had represented his people well at the occasion, the leaders included State deputy chairman, Alhaji Lemboye, Chief Dayo Abatan, Hon. Kayode Tejuoso,Alhaji Abidoye,Chief Godwin Dudun, Major S.A Adejinmi(RTD.),Alhaji Mufasir Amosun, Chief Doja Adewolu, Alhaja Toyosi, and others.
Some Ogun State House of Assembly members also graced the occasion, they included Hon. Olayiwola Ojodu (Abeokuta North ), Hon. Ganiyu Oyedeji(Ifo II) and Hon. Tunde Sanusi(Obafemi Owode)
