Olu of Ilaro becomes Chairman, Ogun Council of Obas

The Olu of Ilaro, Oba Kehinde Olugbenle has been announced as the New Chairman of Ogun State council of obas, Newspaper Online gathered.

In a release signed by the
Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Chief Olajide Ojuko reads that the Olu Ilaro, Oba Kehinde Olugbenle will be the Chairman of the Council for period of one year from the Akarigbo of Remoland, Oba Dr. Adeniyi Sonariwo who joined his ancestors early this year and following the expiration of his
tenure.

Governor Ibikunle Amosun is expected to be at Obas' Complex for the inauguration tomorrow, 12th of October, 2016 by 11a.m.

The Chairmanship postion of the State Council of Obas has been rotated among the four divisions in Ogun State which are REMO, IJEBU, YEWA, AND EGBA.
