The suspected Cult members have killed a final year student of Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, Ogun State.
The cult members came with various weapons, at about 12pm invaded Abapawa area, off the campus, they chased students, during which the victim, Ganiyu Oloyede, was killed.
Ganiyu Oloyede was reportedly to be a 400-level student of Social Studies in the School.
Newspaper Online learnt that Oloyede challenged the assault melt on his girlfriend by One of the Cult members who had beaten the girl up some days back. The Cult members then came for the revenge by Chasing Oloyede in his hostel where he was eventually killed.
The identification and the name of the said girl is yet to be known.
Police Public Relation officer of Ogun State command, Abimbola Oyeyemi confirmed the killing, and he said the remains had been deposited in Morgue for an autopsy.
Some Sources also said that the fight was between Aye and Aloera Confraternities.
