Dismissed Labour Leaders sign MOU with Governor Amosun as government agrees to Labour requests

The Governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has agreed  to the request of the Labour Leaders. The National Labour Leaders led by Comrade Ayuba Waba, Trade Union Congress President, Boboi Kaigama and others have been with the Governor Amosun for the special meeting  over 10 hours since morning. 
Among the Memorandum of Understanding reached was the release of November 2016 promotion while that of 2015 agreed to be released immediately. The State government also agreed to pay the deductions of workers at every 90 days.
Government also agreed to pay Gratuities with N200m from November 2016. The meeting between the Labour Leaders and the government also agreed to the set up of the committee which would include the government officials and the Labour that would work on the Loan request of the State workers. 

After the agreement, the Labour Leaders who had been dismissed from service by the governor call off the 13 day old ' strike action.
