The People's Democratic Party, PDP of Hon. Ladi Adebutu faction in Ogun State has suspended 7 top members in the party. They are Senator Buruji Kashamu who is representing Ogun East in the National Assembly, the factional Chairman, Bayo Dayo, Former Secretary of South-West PDP, Pegba Otemolu, The factional State Secretary, Semiu Shodipo; others include, Fatai Adeyanju, Mr. Segun Seriki, Hon. Daisi Akitan, Hon. Bowale Solaja.
The PDP faction announced the suspension on Friday in a release signed by the factional State Chairman, Hon. Sikirulai Olawale Ogundele and his Secretary, Hon. Olabode Bankole. They relied on the report of a Panel which was constituted in June, 2016 to investigate allegations of financial impropriety, anti-party activities and sundry reckless acts which said were capable of bringing the great party to disrepute.
The report also implicated those suspended for misapplication and outright diversion of party funds.
