I will use 2017 for bargaining installation of my Successor - Amosun

The Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has said that he would use this year 2017 to bargain for votes, to instal of his successor ahead 2019 General election.

Amosun while charging the Commissioners, Special Advisers and Consultants,
said this on Tuesday at the first state executive meeting held in Oke-mosan governor's office, Abeokuta.

The Governor assured that if he's able to get year 2017 right, by implementing and executing all his Programmes and projects,
that would be easy for him to bargain for votes among the electorates as 2018 would only be busy for tremendous campaigns and canvassing for votes across the State.

Meanwhile, the Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Ms. Modupe Mojota has comfirmed that West African Examination Council (WAEC) had released the Senior Secondary Schools Certificate (SSCE) results delayed by the council over the unpaid funds owed by the State government. Mojota comfirmed this to a Radio Station in Abeokuta yesterday. WAEC had refused to release the results to the public Schools since the results had been out nationwide, as government promised to be paying WAEC fees for every final year student in the State owned public Schools.

AMOSUN cannot and should not lay claim to his successor as its not his business but rather the business of ogun state people. He should concentrate on his government through which an eight year mandate was given to him through popular votes
