Kidnappers demand ₦1.2bn ransom to free 8 Students, Staff in Ogun

Kidnappers who abducted eight students and
staff of the Nigeria Turkish International
College, Isheri on the Ogun state border with
Lagos are demanding ₦1.2 billion ransom to free them.

According to the family sources, the kidnappers are
demanding N300 million ransom on each of
the two Turkish nationals among the abducted
staff.

For the remaining six Nigerian students and
staff of the college, the gunmen are
demanding N100 million each to release them.

Family Sources say the kidnappers made the demand
through the phone of one of those abducted.

The Mother of one of the abducted girls, Mrs
Toyin Nwosu , who confirmed the N100 million
demand, said her second eldest daughter was
among those taken away by the kidnappers
from the college.
