The political group of former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Atiku Political Crusaders has been launched in Abeokuta State capital of Ogun State on Friday.
The official launching which took place at Ago egun town hall, Isabo, Abeokuta, Ogun state was witnessed by the National President of the group, Hon. Sanco Ese who came from Abuja, the South-West Cordinator, Hon. Adebowale sunday, Ogun State Cordinator, Hon. Laja Bamigboye, South west Secretary, Comrade Onifade, Oyo and Osun state coordinators, members from all the 20 Local government areas,
Hon Sanco Ese appreciated the unprecedented and infrastructural development of this administration led by Senator Ibikunle Amosun.
In his Speech at this inauguration and presentation of certificate to Ogun state coordinate, Sanco said the group was not against this present administration in Ogun State and at the Federal government, but it's a child of necessity to channel an unprecedented and monument movement towards the true federalism which is been orchestrated by Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
The President thanked all the crusaders present especially the zone and state executive committee of the Atiku political crusaders of South-west and Ogun state.
He expressed that the crusaders was not out to fight the government of the day but group of intellectuals who believed in the political ideology of his Excellency Atiku Abubakar for the restructuring and the implementation of the principle of true fiscal federalism in Nigeria.
"We believe this is the only panacea for peace, unity and sustainable development of our dear nation.", He said.
Today marks rebirth of the true spirit behind the founding fathers of this great nation and I urge everyone present here to be a part of those who made the new Nigeria of our dreams possible.
