The Speaker of Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Suraju Ishola Adekunbi has asked Governor Ibikunle Amosun to implement the financial autonomy law signed in November, 2003 by former Governor, Otunba Gbenga Daniel for the State Assembly.
Adekunbi who expressed the concern during
the plenary to mark the second anniversary of
the eight legislature of the Assembly in
Abeokuta, said said the proposed financial
autonomy will enable the House to receive its
statutory allocation as a first line charge from
the consolidated revenue fund.
