The former political functionaries during the administration of Otunba Gbenga Daniel in Ogun State have approached the Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo to intervene on the payment of their entitlements owed by the Ogun State Government.

The former political functionaries led by Hon. Jamiu Keshinro from the same ward with Senator Ibikunle Amosun travelled to Abuja last week to seek for the help of Acting President, Professor Yemi Osibajo to beg Amosun on their behalf.

Ogun State government last December 2016, announced via the State media that it had paid all political functionaries between 2007 to 2015, While most of the former appointees denied that the government had not settled them.

Having realised that Federal government had approved another batch of Paris club funds to all State governments in the country, the former appointees travelled to Abuja to see Osinbajo who they thought he could convince Governor Amosun to pay their entitlements from the funds released to them.

According to the information available to the Newspaper online, the Ex-political functionaries also submitted their letter of protest to the Acting President's office to formally register their annoyances that they were not given a penny from the bailout and Paris Club funds released so far.
