Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has said he will begin campaigning for the APC governorship candidate for the 2019 poll as from March 2018.
Amosun said this yesterday at the party Secretariat during the meeting of the All Progressives congress Stakeholders where he held at the party secretariat to distribute Sallah gifts for the party members.
At the party meeting were APC top leaders in the state, including the speaker of the House of Assembly, Suraju Ishola Adekunbi, Deputy Governor, Chief Mrs. Yetunde Onanuga, National Financial secretary of APC, Alhaji Tajudeen Bello, and the state APC chairman, Alhaji Tajudeen Lemboye and others.
The governor also used the occasion to debunk the rumours that he had adopted a candidate. "If anyone tells you I have adopted a candidate, it is a lie. I have not adopted anybody...", the Governor said.
He also used the occasion to throw his support again for Ogun west governorship candidates.
