The three termed House of Representatives member who represented Ipokia/ Yewa South federal constituency between 2003 to 2015 and Ogun state governorship aspirant of All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Isiaq Abiodun Akinlade has intensified efforts to pave ways for his emergence as governorship candidate of the party.
The Owode - born politician and Baba Adeen of Yewaland has been constantly meeting with the party leaders across 20 Local government areas. His political consultations had been from the grassroots to State level. He had also facilitated federal government employment for the Youths who were not less than 300 in his constituency and beyond. He ipso facto empowered women and provided needs of aged people.
Funny enough, despite the fact that Akinlade is not presently representing his constituency, people still rated him higher than the incumbent inspte of his tremendous performance and continuous commissioning of projects.
His constituency can now boasted of the First Science Park which is located in Owode Yewa, presently have four Federal Government Agencies, namely:
(1) National Bio-Technology Development Agency
(2) Bio Resources Centre Owode Yewa
(3) Federal Institute of Industrial Research (FIIRO)
(4) Agro Processing Centre Owode Yewa and Ipokia
