Ijebu-Ode Grammar School Old Boys Association elects new executive members
The Ijebu-Ode Grammar School Old Boys Association, popularly known as JOGSOBA, is the umbrella body that congregates all old students of the school. The 1997/2003 Chapter of the association has elected new members of its executive after the expiration of Gbagba Qudus led- administration.

The association's Annual General Meeting was held and election of the new executive members was conducted on Sunday, 10th December, 2017 at the TYTTL Centre in Magodo area of Lagos State. The meeting was well attended by many members of the association both home and abroad.
After the out-gone executives had accounted their stewardship, many issues bothering on the development of the school were discussed and the election was held properly.
The election was monitored by the National Body of the Association ably represented by the Assistant General Secretary, Mr Lanre Onafuye, who also delivered the goodwill message of the National President, Engr. Eben Osoba.

Mr Alao Afeez emerged the new President with the highest votes he got. Mr Rufai Uthman Beeko cruised to arrive as the Vice President I, Mr Bode Olajide polled the highest votes to be the Vice President II, Mr Adetola Marcus came victorious as the General Secretary, Mr Oyelegbin Yusuf Deji defeated his opponent to become the Financial Secretary, Mr Gbaiye Mayowa was atop his opponents to become the Public Relation Officer and Mr Gbagba Qudus and Barr. Balogun Tomiwa were unanimously agreed to serve in the capacity of Ex-Officio and Legal Adviser respectively.
The new executives are expected to live up to their campaign promises and outshine the sterling records of the out-gone executives.
