Liverpool F.C and Egyptian footballer Mohammed Salah has won 2017 BBC African footballer of the year award.
Salah's Liverpool colleague, Sadio Mane emerged as second African footballer of the year.
Other players who were also nominated for the award were;
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Borussia Dortmund), Naby Keita (RB Leipzig), and Victor Moses (Chelsea).
Salah joined Liverpool from Roma in June. His impressive start earned him the player of the month award in August and September.
He becomes the first Egyptian player to win the award after the legendary Mohamed Aboutrika in 2008.
