Nigeria's untapped Crude oil field : Akinlade leads Naval officers to secure the Tongeji Islands from Benin Republic

Tongeji Island is Nigeria's Newest untapped Crude oil wells but Government of Benin Republic is trying to hijack the lands from Nigeria due to the negligence of the Nigeria's government and inability to develop the area over the year. Hon. Adekunle Akinlade who is representing the area, Ipokia/Yewa South Federal Constituency recently moved the motion in the National Assembly which ordered the Nigeria Navy officers to take control of the potential lands so as to prevent unnecessary encroachment from Benin Republic. Naval officers have been sent to the area while the lawmaker also led them round the communities.  The lawmaker had  commenced some projects for the people of the area.
