The House of Representatives, Special Adhoc Committee on the Review of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 Constitution Review held a retreat tagged " The Imperatives of Constitutional Review/Amendment in Nation Building", it was held at the Herbert Ogunde June 12 Cultural Centre Abeokuta. Many Contributors spoke at the occasion including Former Attorney-
General and the Minister of Justice and
International Court of Justice's Judge, Prince Bola Ajibola, Leaders of National Union Local government employees (NULGE) and other Labour Leaders.
The retreat which started yesterday, is expected to end on Sunday, 11th of December, 2016.
Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Yusuf Lasun, Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, CON, FCA, House Leader, Femi Gbajabiamila, Deputy Chief Whip Pally Iriase, and Minority Leader, Hon Leo Ogor and other members of the House ofRepresentatives were all in attendance.
The committee later visited Alake of Egbaland, Oba Aremu Gbadebo on courtesy visit.
