The Ogun State Government has said it
would pay N8bn as
compensations to owners of properties
affected by the demolition exercise that
would give way for construction of a
7.5km six-lane, dual carriage road.
The state government said it has
already disbursed about N2bn out of this
sum, for the road located along the
Enugada-Adatan-Ajitadun-Mokola-Ake
axis of the state capital, with the
assurance that the project and other
ongoing projects in the state, will be
completed in record time.
Amosun reaffirmed his administration’s
resolve not leave any abandoned project,
promising instead that more
developmental projects that would be of
immense benefits to Ogun citizens would
still be done before the end of his tenure.
