If the Sources at the two meetings held last nite and today with Governor Ibikunle Amosun were right, Ogun State Independent electoral commission will announce the date of Local government areas and local council development areas election any moment from now.
Our correspondent gathered that after the pressure was mount on the governor that the present transition Chairmen will continue in their offices since the House of Assembly members had already elongated their tenure for three months.
During their stay in Offices, all the assets and properties will be shared among the LGs and LCDAs; as well as the staff.
According to the Sources at the meeting, It was also comfirmed from the Ongoing Governor's meeting at Oke mosan with the Commissioners and Transition Chairmen that New set of Politicians will also be appointed into LCDAs from the list of names that had been requested last week by the governor. It was also reported that 20 people from each local government area will also be empowered by Governor Ibikunle Amosun.
