Federal government has said that it has completed verification exercise on the graduates who applied for the N-POWER jobs in 13 States. Federal government recently announced that 200,000 graduates had been shortlisted for the first batch jobs.
Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity in the Office of the Vice President, Mr. Laolu Akande stated this today, he also said in some states the graduates have also been deployed to their primary places of assignment, noting that payment of the N30,000 stipends for the graduates will commence this month once verification and deployment have been done.
The States were; Adamawa, Bauchi, Benue, Cross Rivers, Gombe, Jigawa, Katsina and Kogi, Niger, Plateau, Sokoto, Taraba and Zamfara States, while verification and deployment have already been completed in Benue, Cross Rivers and Kogi.
